I hope you have all had a safe and enjoyable riding season thus far! Although it started off slow in the mountains, the snow pack is looking fantastic for this coming weekend’s NSSA State Members Ride out of Albany Lodge Wyoming. If you were unable to get a room booked under the block, unfortunately there are no longer rooms or cabins available. However, Laramie is not too far away and there are PLENTY of hotel rooms available. If you plan on attending, below are some important things regarding the ride. I would like to thank Dave and Lorrie Ulrich for getting everything lined up and ready for Saturday’s cookout on the trail and President Stan Stutheit for getting the poker run lined up for Saturday. I will be unable to make it, so for those of you attending PLEASE SEND PICTURES to be featured in the next newsletter. Ride safe and enjoy the remainder of the season!
-Matt Kracl, VP

The main ride is Saturday February 29th followed by a banquet for the members. Registration for the poker run will be at Albany Lodge between 8AM-9AM in the dining area (look for Stan with a deck of cards and poker hand registrations). Each hand will be $5. The members are encouraged (and if doing the poker run, required) to attend the lunch cookout provided by the Ulrich family. The location of the cookout will be given at the registration for poker hands. Saturday evening banquet meal will be at Albany Lodge’s back room. The meal prepared will be a Ribeye steak dinner cooked to your liking for $24.50. If you prefer to have something else off the menu, you are welcome to order something else as well. Cocktail hour will be from 6:00-7:00, with meal ordering starting at 7:00 PM.
