The international Snowmobile Congress (ISC) 2020 to be held in Regina, Saskatchewan June 11 to 14 has officially been cancelled by the ISC Planning Committee. This should come as no surprise because of all the complications in dealing with the Corona Virus on both sides of the border.
More information will be forthcoming from the Saskatchewan Association (SAS). I can tell you if you have registered, your registration will be refunded in full. SAS is working with the hotel on cancelling booked rooms. More information will follow on this.
For those who don’t know, the American Council of Snowmobile Associations (ACSA) cancelled their annual DC Fly In for the first time ever because of the virus so this cancellation of ISC was not a huge shock to a lot of us.
Remember we are hosting ISC 2021 in the heart of the Midwest – Omaha, Nebraska. The cancelation of ISC 2020 means we lose the opportunity to promote ISC 2021 and take early registrations to attendees of this year’s congress. We need to come up with other ways to promote ISC 2021 and incentives to encourage early registrations.
Please be patient with the information coming out. We are all walking down a different path than we have ever walked before.
Be safe. Wash your hands. Stay at home as much as you can. PRACTICE SAFE DISTANCING when you are out & about.
